However Wales performs in this year’s Six Nations, when it comes to recycling, we’re already at the top of the league! We’re 2nd in the world, having climbed up from 3rd place - but we want that top spot!

Wales may be a small country, but when it comes to recycling, we punch way above our weight. With 95% of us regularly recycling our waste, we’re already the second best recycling nation in the world, and we’re on a Mighty Mission to get Wales get to number one.

At Wales Recycles, we’re proud to support Fix It February – an initiative led by Repair Café Wales that’s all about fixing, instead of binning. Thanks to Repair Café you can get broken items repaired for free at one of over 140 Repair Cafés across Wales. Skilled volunteers have already fixed more than 21,000 items, saving people over £1 million in free repairs.
